Typography has come so far in the past few years thanks to the many designers that have the patience to design it. I wanted to highlight some websites that offer some of the best typography on the web.

(remember that RARELY will you find a font that is really unique on the free sites!)

My Fonts has some of the best offering of typography available on the web. The site also focuses on trends which makes this site a valuable resource. This is a site that you will want to bookmark and subscribe to the newsletter. (the newsletter is one of the best I have seen!)

i Love Typography is a fun site, full of information about typography. I just found it and am still searching around but it was added to my bookmark list almost immediately. They have informative articles about how to create your own fonts. (I might actually give it a try!)

So, check these two typography sites and stand in amazement!

Here is a site that has a list of Typography Tutorials. Technically Personable is an amazing site that, again, is bookmarked!

Mosaic Monday is all about patterns! If you are looking for patterns to use in your graphics projects, there are many site out there that let you design you own. I love doing this because I get to pick the exact colors that are needed. Take a look at these wonderful websites and add them to your arsenal.

COLOURlovers- This site is so much more than a pattern maker. This is a color scheme site that allows you to make your own color schemes, download them for Photoshop and use the color scheme to make a pattern! So, you can leave this site with a color scheme and a background pattern! Best of all is that it is FREE!

Tartan Maker- Looking for some great plaids for your design? This is the site to look at. It's simple interface makes this as easy as pie. Just enter the hex code for you colors and click make it. Then click download and you are done! So simple and again...FREE!

Free Friday is all about the best free resources on the web. It will always be a favorite of mine instead of a review of the entire site.

Ganato.com- Free PSD icons Why sit and design 100's of tiny icons for your web designs? These are great and there are many styles available.

FreeCSSTemplates.com- Totally Free CSS Templates I have used these several times and they work like a charm. It gives you the bare bones to get started and then you can dress them up!

Every Thursday I will be focused on finding the best Tutorials on the web. Tutorials are something that I LOVE! I use them to learn new techniques, expand my current knowledge or to just create something when my creative juices have dried up.

Photoshop:
Best Photoshop Tutorials- This site has more tutorials than I can count! They are all useful and I frequent this site when I need some design inspiration!

Photoshop Lady- Let me start off by saying that I LOVE the look and feel of this site! The tutorials are awesome and posted frequently. Definitely worth having in your bookmarks!

Illustrator:
n.Design Studio- I love Illustrator even though I struggle with the pen tool! (there, I admitted it) This site has helped me so much! Check it out...it is a great site!

This is my first design blog and I am so excited. In an effort to increase my knowledge, I decided to start this blog. This blog will provide links to some of the best Design resources on the Web.

The first site that I want to highlight is Just Creative Design. This is one of the blogs that I read every day. Jacob has some of the most insightful articles about design on the web today.
